A word about AI and writing

When it comes to great writing, AI is not ready for prime time. As a writer, editor and content marketer, I use AI selectively and judiciously. I use AI for research, summarizing large volumes of content, drafting basic factual descriptions — AI use cases that boost my efficiency and productivity. This may well change over time as AI gets smarter and better trained for writing. I hope to be retired by then. For now, AI is not a viable substitute for human creativity, emotion and perspective in the writing process. For the same reason you read Hemingway, sip hand-crafted, small-batch bourbon or make your own pie crust from scratch, engaging a talented human writer produces the best content outcomes.

My work

Here are several writing samples from past jobs and projects that I’ve written, or in some cases, worked collaboratively with subject matter expert or author to develop, write and edit.
