I know from experience that bringing an external writer up to speed can be time-consuming. With deep industry expertise, I deliver high-quality content with minimal learning curve and client effort.

Tim Wolf, Founder and Principal
Here’s my story

I believe that delivering affordable, reliable and sustainable energy to power our economy, unleash technological innovation and create new opportunities for people and communities around the world — while not wrecking the planet — is the defining challenge of the 21st century.

To meet this challenge, we must successfully communicate what is often highly technical, esoteric information and concepts that must be understandable and meaningful to a broad array of stakeholders and audiences.

This is why words matter. Great content should spark an emotional reaction while informing and educating. Great storytelling and effective content must align with an organization’s business objectives, reinforce brand identity, and meet customers and stakeholders where they are, speaking to their needs and aspirations while delivering a clear value proposition.

These two core beliefs inspired me to start Wolf Narrative, a storytelling and content marketing consultancy for organizations leading the energy transition.

At my core, I’m a marketer, a strategist, and a passionate believer in the power of a great story told well. My roots are in journalism, starting off as a newspaper reporter, then transitioning to marketing, PR and communications in the energy technology sector.

I’ve spent the past 25 years with leading companies and organizations such as Itron, SAIC/Leidos, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and AES Clean Energy crafting stories, thought leadership and marketing campaigns covering everything from grid modernization to clean energy development to consumer engagement.

I’m something of a Swiss army knife in marketing communications with a proven ability to collaborate productively with many stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes. My differentiating skill – above all others – is my ability to deliver clear, compelling content about complex technology, business and policy topics.

I would relish the opportunity to put my writing skills, industry knowledge and broad experience to work for you. Let’s work together.

Benjamin, Office Manager

Benjamin is a sniffin’ dog at heart and disapproving by nature. Frustrated by his inability to gain steady employment with TSA, DEA or other agencies where he has applicable skills, he, at the age of 14, has agreed to serve as my office manager. A few Stella and Chewy treats and an occasional tummy rub is all the compensation he requires.
